Supply contract for 30 propulsion packages

We have won the contract to supply and commission 30 propulsion packages for 15 meter patrol boats being built at Abu Dhabi Ship Building. Our scope of supply in these boats will include entire range of Twin Disc products - Twin Disc Quickshift Marine Transmissions, Arneson Surface Drives, Rolla propellers complete with Twin Disc Control System and BCS Trim Tabs making this the single largest order for Twin Disc from this region. These carbon fibre boats are designed to achieve target speeds exceeding 50 knots and follow first series of 12 boats that are currently in service.

Arneson Surface Drives in conjunction with Rolla Surface piercing propellers are the fastest, most efficient, fuel-friendly propulsion system on the planet. When combined with Twin Disc Quickshift transmissions and EC300 control systems, Arneson surface drives allow you to control your vessel from almost 1 knot to full speed with just a single stroke of the lever. No other marine propulsion system is so adaptable to such wide range of engine sizes and types, accommodating torque output exceeding 30,000 lb-ft.
